2030 ECAP – Racial Equity Impact Assessment + Implementation Guide

In July 2020, Oakland’s 2030 Equitable Climate Action Plan (ECAP) was adopted by City Council alongside a Racial Equity Impact Assessment + Implementation Guide (REIA). The REIA provides a comprehensive set of recommendations and best practices to help City staff maximize equity throughout the ECAP’s 10-year implementation period.

2030 Equitable Climate Action Plan (ECAP)

The 2030 Equitable Climate Action Plan (ECAP) was adopted by City Council in July 2020. The ECAP is the City's 10-year plan for mitigating and adapting to the climate crisis in ways that improve racial equity across Oakland. The ECAP includes 40 Actions across 7 sectors. More than 2,000 Oaklanders provided insights that were incorporated into the Plan over a two-year development period. 3rd Annual Oakland Manufacturing and Skilled Trades Day

This event highlights the importance of manufacturing in our society and lifts up the importance of career technical education programs, where young people can develop skills to enter these fulfilling, lucrative careers.
