Oakland has the following locations you can choose from for a walk-up or drive through appointment. Testing is free and available to all.
Roots Community Health Clinic

Mon, Wed, Fri, 9:30am-3:30pm
This site is for walk ups and has very limited parking. Appointments are not required, but we encourage you to make an appointment online to avoid a wait. Appointments can be made online. You can go to the Roots Site without an appointment during the site operating hours: Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to 4pm. If you experience any issues, you can call Roots at (510) 777-1177 ext 1.
8501 International Blvd, Oakland CA
Mon – Sat: 1pm – 7pm
This is a drive thru site only and appointments are required. Appointments can be made online. Also note that you will need access to an email account to receive your appointment confirmation and test results.
West Oakland Health Center

M,W,F: 8:30am - 5:30pm; Sat: 8:30 to 12:30pm
This site requires appointments and has pedestrian service only (no drive thru) so anyone with a car would need to find nearby parking. Appointments can be made online. Testing site entrance is on 7th St. If you have challenges with making your online appointment, please call 510-238-3134 and leave a voicemail. One of our library staff will follow up to support you in the registration process.
