Missing Person Dahe’Lyn Ewing: At Risk Due to Age
The Oakland Police Department is requesting assistance from our community and media partners in locating Missing Person, Dahe’Lyn Ewing, who is at risk due to age.
He was last seen on January 4, 2025, in the 8000 block of Greenridge Drive, around 2:45 p.m. Ewing was wearing a green sweatsuit and black Crocs.
Ewing is described as a 14-year-old, Black male. He stands 5’9” and weighs 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) Alcohol Beverage Action Team (ABAT) and California Department of Tax and Fees (CDTFA) conducted joint inspections into an unlicensed smoke shop on December 27, 2024, in the 2400 block of San Pablo Avenue.

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) Alcohol Beverage Action Team (ABAT) investigated a licensed smoke shop in East Oakland. On December 5, 2024, the ABAT team and officers assigned to the Eastend Foot Patrol were acting on tips from community members that illegal activity was taking place at the shop in the 8500 block of Bancroft Avenue.

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is asking for the community’s assistance in solving the homicide of Claijion Tolbert-Bundy, which occurred on November 20, 2021, in the 3900 block of Carrington Avenue. Tolbert-Bundy was 17 years old at the time of his death.

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) hosted our sixth annual OPD Trunk or Treat event as part of our commitment to our community through “OPD Acts of Kindness.” This year’s Trunk or Treat, held on October 31st at Verdese Carter Park in East Oakland, was one of our most successful Trunk or Treats to date, with more than 1,400 children and families joining us for a safe, festive family-friendly Halloween event.
