The plant establishment period for the Lakeside Green Streets and Snow Park DD is ending. In response to the Coalition's questions about ongoing maintenance, the City responded:
"As we bring on the additional staffing provided by Measure Q, we have been able to add full-time positions at some locations to allow for more focus on some of our prime assets. At Lake Merritt, we were able to add a sixth Gardener Crew Leader to our staff, and their area of responsibility comprises both these newly-added assets you mentioned as well as some existing sections of Lakeside Park and the Veterans Memorial Building grounds."
