Missing Person Alfonzo Arechiga: At Risk Due to Age and Medical Condition

The Oakland Police Department is requesting assistance from our community and media partners in locating Missing Person Alfonzo Arechiga who is at risk due to age and medical condition.

He was last seen on April 5, 2022, walking away from the 4300 block of Turner Avenue, around 3:00 PM. Arechiga was wearing a tan jacket, navy blue pants, and brown shoes.

Arechiga is described as an 85-year-old, Hispanic/Latino male. He stands 5’10”, and weighs 170 pounds. The family reports Arechiga has Alzheimer’s.

Arechiga is unfamiliar with the Oakland Area and could possibly be near the Lake Chabot Golf Course and Chabot Regional Park Area.
