OPD NEWS:
On March 18th, 2021, at approximately 9:51 pm, officers observed a reported carjacking vehicle in the 5800 block of Foothill Boulevard. The vehicle is believed to be connected to multiple armed robberies throughout the City of Oakland from earlier in the day.
After a brief vehicle pursuit, two juveniles (Oakland and San Leandro residents) were taken into custody in the City of San Leandro. One replica firearm was recovered.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at (510) 238-3326.
