On March 2, 2021, at 10:12 p.m., Oakland police officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of International Boulevard to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, responding officers located an unresponsive male adult (Oakland resident) suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Oakland Fire Department personnel responded to the scene to provide medical attention. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased.
Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to take over the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
