Homicide Investigation in the 10600 block of MacArthur Boulevard

On March 19, 2021, at approximately 6:54 PM, Oakland Police Department officers responded to 10600 MacArthur Boulevard to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two gunshot victims. The adult female Stockton resident was transported to an area hospital, where she is listed as being in stable condition. The adult male Oakland resident was also transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to take over the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin. Anyone with information can contact the Homicide Section at (510) 238-3821 or the TIP LINE at (510) 238-7950.
