OPD & OFD teamed up for community outreach in East Oakland.

Today, Oakland Police and Fire joined forces to provide hundreds of much needed personal protective equipment in East Oakland, one of the nation's hardest-hit communities with high rates of coronavirus infection.

Today, Oakland Police and Fire joined forces to provide hundreds of much needed personal protective equipment in East Oakland, one of the nation's hardest-hit communities with high rates of coronavirus infection. To date, both agencies have provided more than 9000 masks citywide with OPD officers distributing more than 5000 of their donated surplus mask to the people of East Oakland. Both agencies will continue the community outreach for the people of Oakland.
