The Oakland Police Department is requesting assistance from our community members and the media in locating a 12-year-old missing person at risk, Kenise Cox.

BACKGROUND: Cox was last seen on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at approximately 4:00 PM leaving her residence in the 1700 block of 8th Street.

Cox is a bi-racial female, African American/Caucasian, 12- years- old, 5’3”, 130 pounds, brown hair, hazel eyes. Cox is in good physical and mental condition. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

Cox may visit areas with coastal views around the Bay Area.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Cox, is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department, Missing Persons Unit at (510) 238-3641.
