Oakland, CA – Today, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf welcomes AltCar
Expo, the nation’s leading forum for green car ride and drive, public
education and demonstration of the latest green technology vehicles, to
Oakland City Hall.
AltCar Expo is presenting the most extensive array of green vehicles in
one place, including: electric, hybrid electric, hydrogen, natural gas,
propane and bio-diesel vehicles. Most are available to test drive and
many may even be purchased during the Expo. The event will feature

“We are pleased to host AltCar Expo in Oakland,” said Mayor Libby
Schaaf. “Creating sustainable transportation is something we’ve made
great progress on, and we look forward to more advances in the years to
come as the state launches new infrastructure, which will help people fuel
vehicles with cleaner solutions for the environment.”
